Isuzu are a Japanese company who are probably better known for the production of commercial vehicles and heavy trucks. They had previously manufactured cars as well, but ceased to sell cars in Europe in the late '90s after their sales declined. Isuzu still manufacture diesel engines for many other car manufactures, notably Vauxhall and Renault.
Two of the most popular models were the Isuzu Trooper (a mid-range 4x4) and the Piazza (a sporty coupe).
