Suzuki Insurance
A relatively young player in the automobile industry at only 50 years old, Suzuki has proved itself as a force to be reckoned with in the global sphere. With a steady supply of compact cars to the East and the West, Suzuki has enjoyed increased profitability in the motorcar and motorbike industries. As the 12th largest automobile manufacturer in the world, it employs over 45,000 people, has 35 main production facilities in 23 countries and 133 distributors in 192 countries, both in the East and the West. Currently, Suzuki holds the no.1 position in the world for the manufacture and performance of compact automobiles.
Fascinatingly, Suzuki does not have its origins in the transport industry; its roots lay in the silk industry. The company began as traders and exporters of weaving machines to the silk industry, but production genius, Shunzo Suzuki, soon realised that he had to broaden his horizons in terms of product development. By 1939 Suzuki had engineered the first few prototypes that would dictate the success of his auto company. These first Suzuki motor vehicles were powered by a then innovative, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, four-cylinder engine.
By 1954, Suzuki was producing 6000 Suzuki bikes per month and had officially changed its name to Suzuki Motor Co, Ltd. Following the success of its first motorcycles, Suzuki created an even more successful automobile: The 1955 Suzulight. Suzuki showcased its inclination for innovation from the beginning. The Suzulight included front-wheel drive and four-wheel independent suspension; features common on cars only developed 50 years later. In 1983, the first four-wheeled ATV, the QuadRunner LT125, was launched as the "first on fours". Today, Suzuki is admired as a world leader in high-performance automobiles, SUVs, motorcycles and ATVs.
In the racing circuit Suzuki is a well-known and respected engine. Winning racing championships at Laguna Seca, International Supercross and the Grand Prix Road Racing, the Suzuki name is a trusted performance-power vehicle. However, it is also a brand with enough range and versatility to provide cars of value to families, like the Verona and Forenza sedans, the versatile Reno and fully-loaded Forenza Wagons.
Suzuki designs and builds are about high performance, technological advancement and elevated reliability. With the proven quality of its products and as a consistent company with a great range of vehicles on offer, high motor insurance and shaky warranties generally aren't worthy worries at Suzuki.
