Making sure everyone feels included

We recognise that providing representative titles for all genders, including gender fluid and non- binary individuals is important when searching for a new policy. We work hard to promote diversity and inclusion across and we are sorry that we are not able to accommodate everyone's preferred titles at present. However, this is something that we are working on to change.

For us to provide a comparison service, we must ensure that the data gathered via the questions we ask matches that required by our partners. This includes selecting a preferred title from the historic options currently available.

Essentially, cannot immediately change these title options as the data would not yet be recognised by our insurance partner's quote generation software, which would result in no quotes being generated for the search. We believe the option of submitting the correct title but resulting in no quote being returned would not be a good customer outcome.

We acknowledge that this is an issue – and we are actively taking steps to address this. We have prioritised working with our partners to ensure that the desired changes are delivered as soon as possible, and we will implement changes to gender titles as soon as we are able to do so.
