^^EDF Terms and conditions

Simply Fixed Feb20 tariff costs an average of £1,036 a year. It is £101 less than the current typical cost of a UK gas and electricity bill of £1,221 a year.

Simply Fixed Feb21 tariff costs an average of £1,046 a year. It is £91 less than the current typical cost of a UK gas and electricity bill of £1,221 a year. These costs are for an average UK home paying by monthly direct debit on a standard gas and electricity tariff with a Big Six supplier.

Average usage is currently defined by the energy regulator Ofgem as 12,000 kWh of gas and 3,100 kWh of electricity per year. If your usage is higher or lower than this, the rates will be fixed and the amount you pay will depend on your usage. Prices correct as of 18/01/2019.

Both tariffs are available to Compare the Market customers who are new or existing EDF Energy customers for both gas and electricity, or electricity only, on monthly direct debit, quarterly direct debit and pay on receipt of bill payment methods. EDF participates in the Warm Home Discount scheme for some customers.

The rates you pay will be fixed until the end of February 2020 for the one-year tariff and February 2021 for the two-year tariff.

There is an exit fee of £35 per fuel if you choose to leave this supplier after 14 days. This cancellation penalty does not apply in the last 7 weeks of the fixed price period often known as ‘the switching window’. Both tariffs are not available for Economy 10 and Prepayment meter customers.

This offer ends after 20,000 switches for each tariff or on 13 February 2019, whichever comes first.
