comparethemarket.com is today announcing its bid to find a lucky student to become a ‘Travel Advisor’ – the perfect experience for the grad student who wants to travel the world and report on their experience. The successful candidate will be chosen by the end of May 2017 before being given the opportunity to travel around the globe to capture a suite of content to be published on the comparison website.
The winning applicant will receive a round the world ticket and latest camera equipment whilst being tasked with taking pictures, videos and writing a monthly blog post, all of which will be shared on the website, creating a hands on, live guide for holiday makers picking their destinations and travel insurance.
To apply, hopeful candidates just need to be a current UK university student in their final year, and submit a 200-word personal statement by midnight on 30 April 2017 here https://www.comparethemarket.com/travel-insurance/content/travel-advisor-competition/ on why they would be the best person for this experience. The Travel Advisor spec consists of:
- Taking 10 x photo a month of the top locations visited and activities experienced
- Capturing 1 x video of the best place visited
- Writing a monthly blog post detailing where travelled, experiences and recommendations
- Visiting a minimum of 8 different countries in total
A team of comparethemarket.com travel experts will choose a shortlist of five candidates before the final decision is made by the public. Each shortlisted candidate will be challenged with submitting a short video on YouTube explaining why they should be named ‘Travel Advisor’ and he or she with the highest number of votes will be packing their bags for the trip of a lifetime.
