The Railway Children Return

1.1 The Promoter is Compare the Market Limited whose registered office is at Pegasus House, Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate, Peterborough, PE2 6YS.

2.1 The title of the Competition is The Railway Children Return Prize Draw Competition.

2.2 Customers will be automatically opted into the prize draw following a qualifying redemption.

3.1 The Competition will run from 00:01 on 14/07/2022 and will close at 23:59 on 03/08/2022.

3.2 To enter the Competition:

3.2.1 you must redeem your Meerkat Movies reward of 2 for 1 cinema tickets against the film ‘The Railway Children Return’.

3.3 The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost regardless of the cause, for example, because of technical malfunction, system, network server computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

4.1 If you do not wish to take part in the Competition, you can opt out of the draw by emailing: [email protected]

4.2 You must opt out before the close of the draw at 23:59 on 12/08/2022

5.1 To enter this Competition you must be a Compare the Market account Holder with a valid Meerkat Movies membership.

5.2 The Competition is open only to UK residents (excluding employees of the Promoter, third parties involved in the Competition and their families).

5.3 There is a limit of one entry per Compare the Market account holder.

6.1 The Prize includes a Bettys ‘Belmont Gift Box’ and a ‘The Railway Children Return Gift Box’ for each winner.

6.3 There is no cash alternative for the Prize.

6.4 The Prize is not negotiable or transferable.

7.1 The winners will be selected at random from the pool of valid applicants by 23:59 on 19/08/2022.

7.2 The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

7.3 The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify or exclude any individual for inappropriate behaviour including but not limited to:

7.3.1 tampering with the entry process, (including exceeding any limitation on the numbers of entries allowed), or any other process, which, in the opinion of the Promoter in any way affects the fairness of the promotion;

7.3.2 tampering with the operation of the Promotion or the website of the Promoter; 7.3.3 acting in violation of the terms of the Promotion;

7.3.4 violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines on the social networking site;

7.3.5 acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person;

7.3.6 any conduct which would put other entrants at an unfair disadvantage; or

7.3.7 having any outstanding complaints registered to your Compare the Market account.  

7.4 The Promoter will contact the winners by 31/08/2022 using the registered email address of the Compare the Market account holder.

7.5 The winner’s names and counties will be available on request by contacting the Promoter on [email protected].

7.5.1 If you object to your surname and counties being made available, please contact the Promoter at [email protected]. However, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

7.6 The Promoter may ask you to take part in publicity relating to the competition, but you do not have to agree to this.

8.1 Winners will receive their Prize by post to their UK address.

8.2 The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

8.3 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted within 30 days of the 31/08/2022, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the valid entries that were received before the Closing Date.

9.1 The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. 

10.1 Personal data supplied during the course of the Competition will only be used for the purposes of the administration of the Competition but may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the Prize.

11.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition.

11.2 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.  

11.3 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
