8. Coronation Street Set Tour Competition

8.1 By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

8.2 Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, third parties involved in this promotion and their families.

8.3 Entry is by visiting http://www.comparethemarket.com/meerkat/coronation-street/competition/ to answer a Coronation Street related multiple choice question and register your details. To be valid for the prize draw you must enter the correct answer. Only one correct entry per person.  

8.4 The competition opens on Wednesday 12th November 2014 at 9am and will close on 26th November 2014 at 9am.

8.5 The prize will consist of 20 sets of 4 tickets to a Coronation Street Set Tour. The tour takes place on the Coronation Street set in Manchester and last for approximately 2.5 hours. Winner(s) must make their own travel arrangements. Travel and other expenses are not included as part of the prize. Tickets are not transferable and the winner [s] must be present for the tour.

8.6 The winner[s] will be selected at random on 27th November. The winner[s] will be notified by email by 28th November and shall have 30 days to claim their prize. The winner must attend the tour by 30th April 2015. 

8.7 In the event that the prize is not claimed by this deadline, the winner shall forfeit the prize and the promoter may select an alternative winner.

8.8 There shall be no cash alternatives to the prize although the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal value.

8.9 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter shall not enter into correspondence with respect to its decision.  The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify or exclude any individual for inappropriate behaviour including but not limited to:

-          tampering with the entry process, (including exceeding any limitation on the numbers of entries allowed), or any other process, which, in the opinion of  the Promoter  in any way affects the fairness of the promotion;

-          Tampering with the operation of the Promotion or the website of the Promoter;

-          Acting in violation of the terms of the Promotion;

-          Violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines on the social networking site;

-          Acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person;

-          Submitting entries on behalf of another individual; or

-          Any conduct which would put other entrants at an unfair disadvantage.  

8.10 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete entries or entries not properly received due to technical, communication or other problems.  However, in the event of any significant technical or communication problems which, in the opinion of the Promoter, prevent the prize draw from being fairly administered, the Promoter may at its discretion extend the time period for entry into any of the prize draws. 

8.11 Personal data supplied during the course of the competitionwill only be used for the purposes of the administration of the competition but may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prizes.

8.12 The decision of the Promoter in all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8.13 The winners may be required to take part in reasonable publicity in connection with the prize including the publication of their name, geographic location and photograph.  This may include publication on the Website, in local and national media and on social media websites.

8.15 Winner[s] must adhere to a code of conduct whilst at the Coronation Street studios and are requested they each sign a code of conduct form, which confirms their agreement to the following:

-          They will behave in a reasonable and sensible fashion at all times whilst at the studio

-          They will not explore any location attended during the tour without being escorted by one of ITV’s representatives.

-          They will not remove any objects from the set or vandalise or damage any location visited during the tour.

-          They will not use any photographs taken during the tour for any purposes other than private non-commercial purposes or post photos on Social Networking sites or similar.

-          Access to certain parts of the Coronation Street set will be subject to availability.

-          They expressly understand and acknowledge that ITV shall have the right to expel them from the studio if ITV considers, in its sole discretion, that they have breached the Code of Conduct.

8.16 Wheelchair access: It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and / or their guest when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

8.17 ITV is not responsible for the administration of the promotion.
