What do Santander credit cards offer?

If you love tech and want to manage your accounts online and on the go, then you’ll like what Santander offer – all three cards give you the benefit of Apple Pay for purchases, which means you just link your card to your iPhone (must be an iPhone 6 or later) or Apple watch and you can pay with those instead.

Managing your account online also means you can always stay on top of your spending – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The All in One Credit Card

The clue’s in the name on this one and it gives you 0% interest on balance transfers, purchases and rewards you with cashback too.

You’ll pay a 1% fee when transferring a balance to this card but the 0% interest is for 40 months. The 0% interest on new purchases runs for six months from the date you open the account and you’ll get 0.5% cashback on everything you buy. There are no limits to the cashback amount so the more you spend, the more you’ll be rewarded (but that’s not an excuse to go crazy).

What makes this card even simpler? You can use it abroad and not worry about being charged any foreign transaction fees. But you must ensure you opt to pay bills or withdraw money in the local currency.

The interest is 15.9%, once the introductory 0% interest periods this goes up to 21.7% APR. To get the benefits of this card, you’ll need to pay a monthly fee of £3.

Don't want to pay a fee?

If you don't like the idea of paying a monthly fee for your credit card then their other cards, the Everyday Credit Card and the Zero Credit Card might be worth a look.

The Santander Everyday Credit Card

The Everyday card gives you a straightforward 15 months at 0% interest on purchases and balance transfers from the date you open the account. There’s also no transfer fee during the introductory 15 months.

The Santander Zero Credit Card

This is just a simple credit card – with only 1 month’s 0% interest free balance transfers and new purchases introductory period and you’ll pay 3% on any balance transfers. There’s no monthly fee and no foreign transaction fee so if you want the flexibility of having a credit card but don’t have any hefty charges to transfer over money then this could be worth.

Need more choice?

Used wisely, credit cards offer flexible borrowing and if you pay off your balance on time each month you’ll escape interest charges.
