How we operate at Compare the Market

What products and services does Compare the Market provide?

We know managing finances isn’t something people like to spend ages on, so we do the hard work for them. We’re constantly improving our services to add the little things that make using Compare the Market as quick and easy as possible, like saving customers’ details to speed up new quotes and letting them set reminders for renewal dates.

Compare the Market compares the following products and services:

Who does Compare the Market work with?

We work with most of the UK’s top insurance, utility and money product providers to find great deals for our customers. Our searches don’t include every single provider or product in the market – a very small number opt out of all comparison sites, or some of the services we offer do not meet the strict partner criteria we use to protect our customers.

How does Compare the Market make money?

We make money when we find our customers a new deal on their household finances. For example, each time someone buys an insurance product or switches their gas or electricity tariff, having found their new supplier through us, we get paid a fee. See below for more details.
