Terms and Conditions of Entry
Introduction:
The following terms and conditions apply to the Win one of 500 Cricket Sergei Toys Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”).
By taking part in the Prize Draw, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions, then you should not take part in the Prize Draw.
1. Who can enter:
1.1. Compare the Market Limited (the “Promoter”) provides a website and mobile application (“App”).
1.2. This Prize Draw is open to all users of the Promoter’s App who are: (a) UK residents during the Prize Draw Entry Period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, their families or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw. No third-party entries, bulk entries, or entries submitted by agents will be accepted.
2. How to Enter:
2.1. To be entered into the Prize Draw, you must:
a. Have the latest version of the App downloaded on your device;
b. Register or sign into your account in the App; and
c. Select ‘Enter’ on the relevant Prize Draw page.
2.2. Entries to the Prize Draw are limited to one (1) per account.
2.3. By entering this Prize Draw, you acknowledge that the Promoter may process your personal data including, where relevant, your name, email address and postal address for the purpose of administrating the Prize.
2.4. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that their Compare the Market account has up-to-date information, in the ‘My Account’ section at the time of entry. The Promoter will not accept responsibility if this is not accurate.
3. Opening/Closing date and time:
3.1. The opening date to the Prize Draw is 12:00 PM on 20/07/2026, and the closing date is 11:59 pm on 20/08/2026, together the (“Entry Period”). Entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be counted, accepted, or considered.
3.2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
4. Winner Selection and Contact:
4.1. Five Hundred (500) winners will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process by 03/09/2026.
4.2. The winners will be notified before 01/10/2026 by email (using details provided when they registered their Compare the Market account).
4.3. The Prize is supplied by Compare the Market, Pegasus House, Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate, Peterborough, PE2 6YS. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
4.4. Each winner must ensure that their postal address is accurate and up to date in the ‘My Account’ section of their Compare the Market account within 7-days of receiving confirmation of their win. This address will be used for prize dispatch. Prizes will be sent to that address within 30 days after the 7-day confirmation period ends. Compare the Market accepts no responsibility for prizes that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or not received due to incorrect or incomplete address information. Failure to update address details in time may result in the prize being sent to the wrong address or forfeited at the Promoter’s discretion.
4.5. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
5. Prize:
5.1. A total of five hundred [500] winners will each receive one [1] Compare the Market cricket-themed Sergei toy (“Prize”)
5.2. The [Sergei] toy is recommended for ages 3 years and above and should not be used by children under 3 years due to small parts.
5.3. The design, size, and theme of the toy are as depicted in promotional materials but may vary slightly from images shown.
5.4. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control make it necessary to do so.
5.5. The Prize excludes anything not expressly stated in the Prize package. The Prize package is subject to the following terms:
a. Delivery is to addresses within the UK only;
b. Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; no cash alternative is available;
c. The Promoter shall not be liable if the Prize is lost or damaged in delivery;
d. All elements of the Prize are subject to availability. If unavailable, experiences and/or items of a similar nature and equal monetary value may be offered at the Promoter’s discretion;
e. Each Winner is responsible for ensuring that any delivery note is checked on receipt;
f. The Prize excludes anything not expressly stated in the Prize package;
g. Once ordered, the Prize cannot be amended or cancelled.
6. Administration of Prize Draw:
6.1. If you are a winner of a Prize Draw, you agree that the Promoter may make your name and county of residence publicly available. If you do not want your name and county of residence publicised by the Promoter or would like reduced information publicised by the Promoter, please contact competitions@comparethemarket.com.
6.2. Notwithstanding the above, the Promoter may still provide these details to the Advertising Standards Authority.
6.3. Personal data supplied during the course of this Prize Draw will only be processed (i) in accordance with these terms and to fulfil the Prize and entries to the Prize Draw in accordance with these terms and (ii) to analyse how our promotions and prize draws have performed as we have legitimate business interest in gaining this insight. 7. Liability
7.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. General
8.1. In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of a Prize Draw, including the allocation of more prizes than available, the Promoter reserves the right to end or suspend the Prize Draw, amend these terms and conditions, declare void the notification of a winner, and/or allocate available prizes by conducting a simple draw from all the wrongly allocated winners.
8.2. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
8.3. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Prize Draw when it becomes necessary to do so and including if the Prize is affected by circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control. The Promoter will endeavour to give notice of such cancellation or suspension via its website or App.
8.4. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons, provided that no such amendment shall materially disadvantage entrants without reasonable notice.
8.5. If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. No failure or delay by the Promoter in exercising any right or remedy shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy. These terms constitute the entire agreement between the Promoter and entrants in relation to the Prize Draw.
8.6. Apple Inc. is not involved in any way with the Promoter’s administration or promotion of this Prize Draw.
8.7. This Prize Draw and the terms and conditions that govern it are governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
