Terms and Conditions
Compare the Market Limited (the “Promoter”) provide a website and mobile application (together referred to in these Terms as a “platform”). This prize draw is open to all users of the Promoter’s mobile application (“Application”) who are UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw, who enter the prize draw via the mobile application administered by the Promoter during the Entry Period.
Upon download of the Application, opening the Application, registering or signing in and selecting ‘Enter’, you will be automatically entered into the prize draw and will see a message on screen confirming you are in the draw. The latest version of the Application is required to participate in the prize draw.
The opening date for downloads and entries is 12:00 pm on 1st August 2025, and the closing date of the prize draw is 11:59 pm on 15th August 2025, together the (“Entry Period”). Entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be counted, accepted, or considered.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any downloads and installations which are not completed, or are delayed, for any reason.
Five winners will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process by 21st August 2025 ("Draw Date").
A total of five winners will each receive two tickets to attend The Hundred Eliminator on 30th August 2025 at The Kia Oval in London (“Prize”).
Winner and guest must be available to attend the event in London on 30th August 2025, and no alternative dates or prizes will be offered. a) Travel is not included and winner and guest must arrange and pay for their own travel to the event b) The prize excludes anything not expressly listed above c) Tickets cannot be re-sold under any circumstance
The winners will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided when they registered for their Compare the Market account) before 23rd August 2025. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that their Compare the Market account has up-to-date contact information, and The Promoter will not accept responsibility if this is not accurate. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter in order to claim the prize within 2 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above. If a replacement winner also fails to claim the prize within the applicable time limit, the prize may be forfeited entirely at the Promoter’s discretion.
Upon acceptance of the Prize Package, the winners will be emailed details on how to access their tickets via a unique code. The winners will be required to download the latest version of The Hundred app to access their tickets. Winners will have 72 hours from the time the ticket is shared to redeem before it expires. Winners will be required to present the QR code on their tickets for scanning at the gate to enter the event.
Compare the Market accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, or misdirected deliveries. Compare the Market accepts no responsibility if a winner does not redeem their tickets in The Hundred app within the stated time frame.
The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-assignable, and no cash alternative shall be offered.
The prize is supplied by Compare the Market, Pegasus House, Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate, Peterborough, PE2 6YS. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and town/city of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails competitions@comparethemarket.com or writes to Pegasus House, Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate, Peterborough, PE2 6YS (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in term 3 to these terms and conditions. If you object to any or all of your surname, town/city and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter whose registered office is at Pegasus House, Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate, Peterborough, PE2 6YS. In such circumstances, the Promoter will still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. The Promoter will endeavour to give notice of such cancellation or suspension via its platform.
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed to (i) in accordance with these terms and to fulfil the prize and entries to the prize draw in accordance with these terms and (ii) to analyse how our promotions and prize draws have performed as we have legitimate business interest in gaining this insight. Apple Inc. is not involved in any way with the Promoter’s administration or promotion of this prize draw
These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in England and Wales.
