What does Tesco Bank buildings insurance cover?
Tesco Bank buildings insurance comes with unlimited cover with regard to the repair of the structure of your home and its permanent fixtures.
With Tesco Bank buildings insurance, you’ll also get alternative accommodation up to £50,000 if your home isn’t safe to live in, up to £2,000,000 in owner’s liability cover, cover for burst pipes and blocked sewers, as well as accidental damage cover and cover for replacement locks.
What does Tesco Bank contents insurance cover?
Tesco Bank contents cover provides you with up to £75,000 contents cover as standard, with the option to increase it to £100,000 for a little bit extra.
Accidental damage cover also comes as standard with its policy for home entertainment equipment – and this covers things like your TV, laptop and tablet – as does cover for high value items, such as jewellery and antiques.
If you have any home office equipment in your home, it will also be covered for up to £10,000 and items in your garden will be covered for up to £1,500 (with an extra £2,500 for your plants).
You'll automatically get an extra £7,500 of contents cover during special events, such as weddings and Christmas or other religious holidays.
