What types of car insurance can I get with Elephant?

Elephant offers three levels of car insurance: third-party only, third-party, fire and theft, and comprehensive cover.

If you have more than one car in your household, Elephant offers discounts for each car covered under its multi-car policy.

Car insurance for couriers is also available.

Courtesy car

Use of a courtesy car while yours is being repaired at an Elephant-approved garage.

Sports cover

Up to £300 cover if your sports equipment is stolen or damaged in a fire or accident.

Windscreen repair

Repair or replacement of your windscreen if it gets damaged.

Personal injury cover

Up to £5,000 of cover for you and your partner if you have a serious accident.

Stereo cover

Unlimited cover for standard sound equipment.

Electric battery and cable cover

Cover for electric and hybrid batteries, and standard charging equipment, against accidental damage, fire and theft.

Can I cancel a policy with Elephant?

Yes, you can cancel your policy by calling Elephant on 0330 134 3259 or via MyAccount.

If you cancel your policy within the 14-day cooling-off period at the start of your cover, you’ll need to pay a £25 cancellation fee. If you cancel after the 14-day period, this increases to £60.

Is it possible to add other drivers to an Elephant insurance policy?
